Innovation is crucial in the fast-paced restaurant industry, and women leaders are at the forefront of driving change. Their approach to problem-solving and customer engagement often leads to innovative solutions and fresh ideas. From embracing technology to streamline operations to developing unique dining experiences, women leaders are spearheading efforts that keep their brands competitive and relevant.

The restaurant industry, long dominated by men, is witnessing a transformative shift as more women step into multi-unit leadership roles. This change is not only redefining the industry's leadership landscape but also setting new standards for business excellence and innovation.

To highlight their strides forward, we’re putting the spotlight on female leaders at Ops Summit 2024, November 13-14, 2024, in Boston. We’re excited to announce our powerhouse panel of women leaders who will be participating in a Q&A session led by Crunchtime’s Chief Revenue Officer, Nikki Perry. 

Nikki Perry has worked in B2B technology for over 16 years, with a focus on restaurant technology during the last 8 years, to develop go-to-market strategies and world-class sales teams. She has spent her career helping customers implement process improvement initiatives including devising a comprehensive strategy, selection of technology, and implementation. At Crunchtime, Nikki is responsible for the sales organization and for ensuring our customers are set up for success when implementing the Crunchtime portfolio.

Devin Games is the Vice President of Operations Services at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, where she leads restaurant innovation, operations standards, training, and strategic operations initiatives focused on making Popeyes restaurants Easy to Run. With over 14 years of experience in the food service industry, Devin has held significant roles at both Popeyes and Domino's. At Domino's, she spearheaded training programs in the US and led international operations across Europe. Devin holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership and a BS in International Business from the University of Findlay.

Diane Neville is the Chief People Officer for Shake Shack. She joined the company in 2019 with over 20 years of human resource experience scaling teams to build foundational practices to enhance corporate brands. As CPO, she is responsible for the national development and oversight of all human resources workforce strategies and functions. Diane has also held various HR roles within such companies as P.F. Chang's, Grimaldi's Pizzeria, McKesson Corporation, Fender Musical Instruments, and AON.

Danyel Bischof-Forsyth joined 7 Brew Coffee as Chief Technology Officer at the beginning of 2024. Prior to 7 Brew, she was CTO at Tyson Foods. Before moving to Northwest Arkansas for Tyson, she spent 28 years in multiple technology roles at Hallmark Cards. Danyel currently serves on the board of NETZRO and the executive advisory board for Netskope. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, an MBA, and a doctorate in organizational change and leadership.

Regina Jerome is the Chief Administrative Officer at Uno Pizzeria & Grill, where she oversees administrative functions with a focus on strategic IT initiatives. With over 25 years in IT leadership, she has previously served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Uno and held key IT roles at Legal Sea Foods and Margaritas Restaurants. Regina's extensive experience includes directing IT operations at Avado Brands and Finagle A Bagel. A graduate of Bowdoin College, she holds a BA in Economics and Government, Magna Cum Laude, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

These leaders will share their paths to leadership, the challenges they have overcome, the opportunities they have created for growth, and the unique approaches they use to lead their organizations.

Women in multi-unit restaurant leadership positions bring a wealth of experience, creativity, and resilience to the table. Their unique perspectives foster inclusive work environments, enhance team collaboration, and drive customer satisfaction. Many of these leaders have risen through the ranks, from entry-level positions to executive roles, demonstrating unwavering dedication and a profound understanding of the industry's intricacies.
