Jersey Mike’s: Achieving Ops Excellence and Giving Back in Every Store
Since 2011, Jersey Mike’s annual Month of Giving has raised more than $88 million for local charities, with last year’s total breaking the record at $21 million. During the month of March, Jersey Mike’s customers had the option to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3, or $5 when placing their order.
The campaign culminated with the nationwide event, Day of Giving, on Wednesday, March 27, when local Jersey Mike’s owners and operators donated their resources and 100% of sales to local charities, including hospitals, youth organizations, food banks, and more. In each market, restaurant owners select charities that support local neighborhoods and build a stronger community.
Crunchtime employees across our hybrid workforce got in on the action in hopes of helping break the record this year, while supporting their local communities. (With many subs ordered Mike's Way, with the Juice, of course!)

We're proud to work with such an incredible brand that makes it a priority to give back to those in need. Jersey Mike’s started working with Crunchtime back in 2012 with a focus on inventory and labor management and has added operations execution and learning and development to their Crunchtime platform.

- Inventory, Labor, and Ops Intelligence | Jersey Mike’s turns data into actionable strategies and can compare company-wide data to see exactly what is most profitable.
- Operations Execution | Jersey Mike’s uses Crunchtime to ensure brand standards are met in every store, which echos true in its recent ad campaign featuring Danny Devito with messaging focused on food quality.

Every detail of Jersey Mike’s operation is thoughtfully handled with care. Jersey Mike’s serves authentic, fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs on in-store freshly baked bread—the same recipe it started with decades ago in 1956. Ordering a sandwich in the famous “Mike’s Way” style means topping an order with lettuce, onions and tomatoes, oregano, salt, and “The Juice”—a signature blend of red wine vinegar and olive oil. Jersey Mike’s Subs has over 2,500 existing locations and many more in development. To learn more about our partnership with Jersey Mike’s, listen to QSR's UNCUT podcast here.
