Course Abstract

Reduce potential liability by teaching hourly team members a basic knowledge of the laws that govern hiring practices and discrimination, according to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) practices. This course focuses on the impact of the laws and regulations that govern the workplace, including discrimination, how to give great service to guests with disabilities and the team member’s role in creating and maintaining a respectful workplace.

• Discusses impacts of the key laws that govern the workplace, including the Civil Rights Act, the Equal Opportunity Act, and the Americans With Disabilities Act
